Dear Parishioners,
Welcome back to regular parish life after summer holidays!
This weekend we shall take up a collection for the Needs of the Church in Canada. Contributing to this collection helps the Bishops in Canada to fulfil their ministry of teaching, sanctifying and governance. Thank you for your continued support and may God bless you.
We also celebrate World Day of Migrants and Refugees. We are encouraged to pray for and support migrants and refugees in whatever capacity we can. We pray for peace and just economic growth in countries suffering from conflicts and poverty.
We are welcoming more people to join our Choir. Please sign up to join if you can sing. As you know liturgical music is at the heart of our worship. Volunteer forms are at the King Street entrance of the church.
Get involved in our parish if you are able by picking volunteer forms at the doors and signing up for ministry areas that you can share your gift and talents.
Have a wonderful Fall Season as we Fall back into our Faith!
Fr. Andrew

Monday, September 26 is the 13th anniversary of Fr. Andrew’s Ordination to the Priesthood. He asks you to remember him in your prayers.

MOVIE NIGHT – Friday, September 30, 6:30 to 9:00pm
Join us in the Parish Hall to view the movie The Shack, starring Sam Worthington and Octavia Spencer. The movie is a PG-13 rated American Christian drama about a grieving man who receives a mysterious, personal invitation to meet with God at a place called The Shack. Feel free to bring your own comfortable lawn chair. Light refreshments will be provided.

ST. JOHN CRAFT GROUP – Saturday, October 1, 9 to 11am
Join us for our first meeting to socialize and create! We invite you to bring your own knitting, quilting etc or join us in our first group project – making sleeping mats for those experiencing homelessness. Children will have an opportunity to participate as well. All parishioners can become involved by saving their clean, dry and folded outer milk bags and dropping them off at the Church.

This special Liturgy will take place during the 9:30 am Sunday Mass. Children sit with their families until they are invited by the Celebrant to join the leaders in the Parish Hall just before the First Reading. Children will return to their families during Offertory. There is no cost, and no registration is required.

The keyboard (organ) previously used in the Church is available for free to anyone interested. It is not in perfect working condition and may need some repairs. The organ is available for viewing in the Chapel.

This is an internationally coordinated campaign that aims to end abortion locally through prayer and fasting, community outreach, and a peaceful all-day vigil in front of abortion businesses. Volunteers for the Vigil are needed from September 28 to November 6 across the street from McMaster Children’s Hospital (Main St West in Hamilton). For more information and to register, visit or call 905-962-2864.

Friday, October 14 at 7pm at St. Ann Parish in Ancaster
Join Bishop Wayne Lobsinger as he continues his conversations on the Catechism. Meetings will take place monthly.

If you know a child in Grade 3 or older who would like to assist at Mass, please contact the Parish office. Training will be available in September for all new and current Altar Servers. Please note that time spent Altar Serving can be used towards High School Christian Service volunteer hours.
