Dear Parishioners,
This weekend kicks off the re-engagement of the One Heart One Soul Campaign here at St. John Parish. We are excited for the opportunity to pick up the effort again to reach our goals, complete our projects, and have so many of our parishioners back home to hear about the campaign for the first time. The good news is we’ve raised 58% toward our goal of $179000. With everyone’s participation, we can change this last, dreadful year into a hope-filled future.
Peace and blessings,
Fr. Andrew

In June, the Federal Government passed new legislation making September 30 the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. This commemorates the history and ongoing trauma caused by residential schools and is intended to honour the survivors, families and communities who continue to grieve for those who were lost. Join us for Mass at 8:30 am on Friday Sept. 30 to continue to pray for the healing of our nation.

Please join us for Rosary prayers and Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament on Friday evening, October 1. Time to be determined.

Please join us for an informal talk about Funeral Preplanning presented by Dignity Memorial on Thursday, September 30, 2021 at 11:00 am in the St. John the Baptist Parish Hall. There will be a complimentary light lunch following the session. RSVP is not necessary. Licensed Funeral Pre-planners and Funeral Directors will answer all your questions. Proof of vaccination is required.

Sunday Collection $1711.00
Average weekly Pre-Authorized Giving $684.38
Needs of the Canadian Church $20.00

Contact the office if you are interested in having your monthly Parish offering transferred electronically from your account. All donations will be recorded, and an income tax receipt will be given at the end of the year. Donations can easily be changed or terminated at any time.

Call Ginette at 905-746-9976 or the office at 905-544-2100 for new prayer requests or to update previous requests. Monthly updates would be appreciated if you would like your prayer request to continue. If you would like to join the Prayer Network, please forward your email address to the Parish office.
