From the Pastor’s Desk
Dear Parishioners, peace be with you!
As we find ourselves in a second wave of the pandemic, we are all advised and encouraged to exercise extra precaution for the safety of all. Let us keep praying that we find a potent vaccine soon. Don’t lose hope, God is with us.

RCIA: If you are interested in becoming a Catholic or learning about the faith, kindly attend our first meeting on Tuesday, November 24, 2020, at St. Eugene Parish at 7:30 pm after Mass.

GRATITUDE: Thank you to all who are volunteering to keep our parish open. Thank you to all who are donating to support our parish especially during these times. God bless you all abundantly.

GRATITUDE: Thank you to the members of the St. Vincent de Paul group in our parish who engage in remarkable works of charity within our Parish jurisdiction. May God bless them. Let us continue to support them in every way we can. Those interested to join should contact the Parish office.

CHRISTMAS MASSES REGISTRATION: This year due to covid-19 protocols, we are encouraged to register for the Christmas Masses so as to make due provision for parishioners and keep everyone safe. Please check the published Mass times in our bulletin, website, bulletin boards and call the parish office to book your attendance.

Stay blessed and stay safe!
Fr. Andrew

MISSALS 2021
Missals for next year, beginning on the First Sunday of Advent, November 29, will be sold after Mass for $5 each. A limited number of Children’s Missals are available for $7 each. Exact change is appreciated.

ANNIVERSARY MASS 2021
As the restrictions from COVID-19 continue and for the safety of all concerned, a decision has been made to cancel the annual Anniversary Mass scheduled for June of 2021. Bishop Crosby would still love to offer congratulations to all those who will married 25, 40, 50, 60 and 60 plus years in 2021, so you will be able to register your anniversary on line and we will send you the certificate you would have received if the Mass had gone ahead. More information will be sent in January about how to register.

DIRECTIVES FOR OUR SAFETY
We ask that you continue to do a self-assessment before coming to Mass. If you feel unwell or have been in contact with someone who has Covid-19, please do not attend Mass.
Please do not remove your mask during Mass. Those with certain medical conditions are not required to wear a mask. If you need to cough or sneeze, please do so into your elbow.
For Communion, an usher will be present and will usher one row at a time to the front. For those on the King St. side, please receive Communion from the Priest or Minister on the same side as where you were sitting. Do not cross to the other side. Communion must be received in the hand, then remove your mask, consume the Host and replace your mask before walking to your seat.
Offertory envelopes will be collected as you exit the Church at the end of Mass.
Parishioners sitting nearest to the doors should exit first, and please remember to physically distance inside and outside the Church.
We are not able to gather in the foyers or body of the church before or after Mass, so please leave the building as soon as Mass is over as it needs to be cleaned and sanitized after each use.
We are always in need of volunteers, as it takes many people in order for all of us to share in the celebration of Mass. Please call the parish office if you are willing to help at one of our Masses.
Thank you for adhering to these safety directives.
