Baptisms will take place on the second Sunday of each month at the 9:30 a.m. Mass. Please contact the office at least one month in advance.
OUR MASS HOURS
Saturday, Evening Mass: 5:15 p.m.
Sunday Mass: 9:30 a.m.
Wednesday evening Mass: 7:00 p.m.
Thursday morning Mass: 8:30 a.m.
(Weekday Masses are held in the chapel. Please enter through Edgemont St. doors.)
Reconciliation: Saturdays from 4:30 -5:00 p.m.
If you would like a Mass celebrated for a special intention or in memory of a deceased loved one, please contact the office. The cost is $10.
If you would like to have the Sanctuary Lamp burn in memory of a deceased loved one, or for a special intention, please contact the office. The cost is $10, and the Lamp will burn for the entire week.
Located at the King St. entrance. Candles can be lit in memory of a loved one or for a special intention. The suggested payment is $2.
Parishioners who have prayer intentions are invited to contact either the Parish Office or Ginette Howatt (prayer network co-ordinator) at 905-549-4808 or 905-746-9976.
The Children’s Liturgy takes place every week at the 9:30 a.m. Mass. Invite friends and family. All children welcome.
Please encourage your children to participate.
COOKIES, COFFEE AND CONVERSATION
This event will be held in the Church Hall on the first Sunday of each month after the 9:30 a.m. Mass.
THE OFFICE will be closed Wednesday, May 15 and Friday, May17 in the morning only. The office will be open from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. on those days.

One of the wonders God has gifted to the world is Motherhood. It is a powerful source of love and life. Motherhood for me is not an activity but a quality. I think a mother is not just one who has been able to birth a child, true motherhood for me is a woman who shares her inner abilities of care, love and compassion with others in a life-giving and flourishing way. May all women emulate the life of Mary our mother. We pray for responsible, loving and caring mothers in the world. God bless All and Happy Mothers’ Day!!!

THE SOCIETY OF ST. VINCENT DE PAUL
Their 14th Annual Dinner/Dance and Silent Auction evening will take place on Friday, May 24th at Michelangelo’s Banquet Centre, 1555 Upper Ottawa Street in Hamilton. Tickets are $50 each and doors open at 6:00 pm. Tickets include a 5-course dinner, interesting silent auction items and door prizes. THE HAMILTON MOUNTAIN FARMER’S MARKET
Sponsored by Sacred Heart Church. The market runs from May 18 to November 2019, 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. All produce is grown or produced on local area farms and sold by the farmers.
It is located at the corner of Viewpoint and Mountain Park Avenues on the Sacred Heart Church parking lot. (One block west of the Juravinski Hospital, on the Mountain Brow.) Come out and support the farmers and enjoy the fresh seasonal produce.

THE ST.VINCENT DE PAUL SOCIETY
is happy to report that our recent Easter Supper was a big success!!! We would like to thank Fr. Andrew for his support and Rina and Lisa for their administrative assistance. We would also like to thank our generous parishioners for their financial help, the grade 7 students from St. John the Baptist School for being outstanding servers, the Catholic Women’s League for their delicious desserts and the many volunteers who contributed their time and talent. According to our calculations approximately 100 persons enjoyed a tasty dinner. Surplus funds from this year’s dinner will go toward next year’s dinner. Thank you to all who attended.
