FROM THE PASTOR’S DESK

Dear Friends,

Lent 2019: This is the last weekend we sing “Alleluia” until the Easter Vigil. Lent begins with Ash Wednesday on the 6th of March, all should do well to attend scheduled Masses per your convenient time to share in the Liturgy and receive ashes. The “Glory to God” is omitted during this season unless in Masses that are indicated. Let us deepen our relationship with God and neighbour during this season.

Active Participation: Please let’s all try to respond audibly at Mass; and let’s sing joyfully together.

Stations of the Cross: is on every Wednesday 7:00 p.m. during Lent, please make time to attend.

Many blessings and graces of the season to you all.

“A good tree does not bear rotten fruit, nor does a rotten tree bear good fruit.” Luke 6:43
Are you using your God-given gifts in the way God intended? Do you compare yourself to others and complain about what you don’t have instead of being thankful for what you do have? God gives each of us unique gifts and a unique plan. Listen to how God is calling you to use your gifts, to bear good fruit, for the glory of His name.
