My dear family of God,
Happy New Year !
A NEW ERA OF ST. JOHN THE BAPTIST PARISH, TOWARDS “A VIBRANT, PRAYERFUL MISSION-ORIENTED PARISH”: St. John Parish is charting a new path. We want to grow into a community of prayer united in Christ, welcome more young people and young families into the church, engage and re-evangelize our seniors, and grow into mature disciples of Christ. This will bring us to outline many goals and work out strategies to achieve them. Please be involved in the new era of St. John the Baptist Parish, a “Vibrant, Prayerful Mission-Oriented Parish”
I pray that our parish community may be a place to share the joy of Christ, and to allow this joy to overflow in our families, workplaces, schools, neighbourhoods, etc. I believe that a joyful state is the mother of gratitude and many good works. May we joyfully build “a vibrant, prayerful and mission-oriented parish”
Many thanks to all who gave me, Fr. Ambroise, and Deacon Joseph, treats of food, cards, gifts, and Christmas wishes over the holidays. We appreciate everything very much and thank you for keeping us in your thoughts and prayers.
Wishing you a joyful new year!
Fr. Andrew
