Come on, continue your Baptism by baptizing others in the holy Spirt and Fire. “You are my beloved child,” says the Lord!
As John the Baptist introduced the people of his time to Jesus a voice from heaven said, “You are my Son, the Beloved, with you I am well pleased.”
Perhaps God is calling you to do the same in our time as a priest, deacon or religious consecrated man or woman. If you think God is calling you contact Fr. Michael King, Diocese of Hamilton 905-528-7988 ext. 2246. E-mail email@example.com
Sunday Regular Collection: $1,673.00
Loose: $ 122.35
Pre-authorized Offering: $ 442.46
Total: $ 2,237.81
“John answered them all, ‘I baptize you with water; but He who is mightier than I is coming…He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit.” Luke: 3:16.
The Catholic Catechism states that “Jesus’ immersion in the water is a sign for all human beings of the need to die to themselves to do God’s will.” In other words, as baptized Catholics there is only one gift that we need to give to Jesus – the gift of ourselves. Surrender yourself to God, place your trust in Him and allow the Holy Spirt to work through you for the greater glory of God.
