FROM THE PASTOR’S DESK
This Sunday is the 4th Sunday of Advent. Our hearts are filled with joy as we draw closer to celebrating the birth of Jesus. Let’s be people of Joy and bring joy to others.
GRATITUDE! At the threshold of celebrating the great memory of the Birth of our Lord Jesus, our hearts must be filled with gratitude to God for the precious gift of Jesus. Christmas, among other things, is a time of gratitude. We are thankful to God who has fulfilled the promise of His saving presence in the person of Jesus, God’s Son.
Thank you to all parishioners who have supported the church by their Stewardship: Sharing Time, Talent and Resources to advance God’s work among us. Thank you to all Volunteers.
Thank you to our Parish Staff.
I thank God for you, and I love you all so, so much.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Your servant in Christ Andrew.
Thank you to the following for their special donations: Mrs. Vanda Sciullo, and the Needham family in memory of Steve and Anne Stokl.

“For behold when the voice of your greeting came to my ears, the babe in my womb leaped for joy.” Luke 1:44.
When you hear the scripture readings and Gospel reading each Sunday, do you “leap for joy?” If not, don’t blame the lecturer or priest, rather look inside yourself. Do you prepare for Mass each week or do you just show up and expect to be entertained? We are called to be active participants, not passive by-standers.
