FROM THE PASTOR’S DESK

Dear Friends:  Grace, mercy and peace of the season be with you!

PALM SUNDAY: This celebration marks the turning point in the life and ministry of Jesus. He enters Jerusalem to embrace the cross for our salvation. It would be good if we can all learn from Him to make sacrifices for the good of others – our families, church and all who need our help.          Happy Palm Sunday!

EASTER TRIDUUM: “The summit of the Liturgical Year is the Easter Triduum—from the evening of Holy Thursday to the evening of Easter Sunday. Though chronologically three days, they are liturgically one day unfolding for us the unity of Christ’s Paschal Mystery.
The single celebration of the Triduum marks the end of the Lenten season, and leads to the Mass of the Resurrection of the Lord at the Easter Vigil.
The liturgical services that take place during the Triduum are:
Mass of the Lord’s Supper
Good Friday of the Lord’s Passion
Mass of the Resurrection of the Lord”
Please do well to attend all these liturgies.

Happy Easter!  Fr. Andrew

STEWARDSHIP REFLECTIONS
“I tell you, Peter, before the cock crows this day, you will deny three times that you know me.” Luke 22:34
How many times have you heard someone make a disparaging comment about Jesus or our Catholic faith? How did you react? Do you remain quiet not to cause a disturbance? Or, do you remain quiet because you believe people will think negatively about you? Pray for the courage to speak up and enter into a respectful dialogue when the opportunity arises.
